Welcome

Hamilton Soccer is the governing body of soccer in Hamilton, Brantford and Paris.

We work to support, promote, and facilitate standards-based soccer to grow the game in our region.

By supporting our member clubs, leagues, and academies we ensure they have the resources, training and ability to service their participants to the best of their ability.

History

The Hamilton and District Soccer Association is one of the oldest District associations in Ontario.

History shows the Association was established in 1896.

The years between 1920 and the outbreak of World War II in 1939 are often referred to as the "Golden Years" of soccer in North America.

In both Canada and the United States the game blossomed as never before or since. With the end of the 1st World War, immigrants from Britain poured into Canada bringing with them their love of the game.

After the 2nd World war, mass immigration, as families sought to leave the devastation that the war

also brought to Europe, began to change the face of the game in Hamilton and

throughout Canada. The District began to pick up pace and was incorporated as a

not-for-profit in 1984
