The Ontario Soccer Match Officials Program is pleased to announce the selected Match Officials for the 2022 Ontario Summer Games, taking place in Mississauga from July 21 to 24.

These officials have come through the LTOD Talent Identification and Scouting program, with input from District Referee Coordinators.  These officials are on, or moving onto the Talented Pathway with the goal of reaching League1 Ontario, CPL, National List and MLS.

Nicky Pearson, Sr. Manager of Match Officials Development says “With the proven success in the 2014 and 2018 Ontario Summer Games, we will continue with the format of mentorship, coaching and assessments throughout the event.  I am excited that joining the accredited mentor pool in 2022 will be a number of National List officials – they will bring experience and knowledge from officiating in the CPL, MLS and at National Competitions.  This will be invaluable for the OSG officials, and I thank these National List officials for giving back to the next generation of talent”.

Director of Officials Marlene Ford will be working closely with Ontario Soccer staff to ensure an event that will provide an outstanding opportunity for all involved.
