Leadership
With nine volunteer board members and three staff, Hamilton Soccer works to execute the strategic plans set out by Canada Soccer and Ontario Soccer to grow the game locally. Through standards based practices, discipline, education sessions, and other programming, the board works to ensure member clubs have the tools to be successful.
Board members actively contribute to the support of local soccer in specific ways. Our Treasurer runs financial literacy programming, our Director of Events and Competition helps execute the Spectator Cup, while our Vice President of Match Officials and Director of Player Development execute on field learning opportunities for match officials, coaches, and players.
In tandem with our VP and Directors, our District Referee Coordinator works to manage the development of match officials through our mentorship program, while our District Programs Coordinator works to plan and execute education clinics and player programming
Operationally, our General Manager handles the day to day operations of Hamilton Soccer including player documentation, planning and financials. The board meets monthly where our General Manager is accessible through the week at our offices.
